Niles Canyon Train field trip

We with Cameron's class on a field trip on the Niles Canyon Train! What fun! And it just happened to be on Jace's birthday, which made it even more special.

Cameron and his friends spent the first half hour or so shooting pretend weapons at pretend somethings off the side of the train like they were in an old Western movie.
I guess there were hiding out from the "bad guys" who were on that other train we passed.
This picture of Jace is a little blurry, but I like it anyway--it so Jace. He's got an interesting ensemble that includes pajamas and boots and that look is just one of Jaces many faces.
It's cute how Park has signed his name under the bill of his hat just like most of Cam's baseball team. Cam's coach calls Parker the honorary member of the Rockies. As soon as one of Cam's games is over, Parker darts onto the field to hit and run the bases. He's excited to be on his own team next year.
After the train ride (about 1 hour 15 minutes), we ate lunch at Kolb Park.
Parker is always lovin' Jace. :0)
Cam's teacher Mr. Fogel agreed to race Cam up the climbing wall. After the first couple tries, Cameron decided he was at a disadvantage and didn't want to race anymore.Until recently, Jace did not enjoy swinging. Now he thinks it's the best!

Happy Birthday, Jace! Love the goofy outfit! He would fit right in with my kids. I'm actually working on a post about that! Good times for the Jensen boys!!

Wow, your group found more to do on the train ride. More "scope for imagination" for them I guess! (See my post on the same subject...)
